A combination of rural with high density suburbia. Located East of the City of Buffalo, Lancaster boasts one of the area’s largest school districts that rates high and includes a competitive athletic culture. Lancaster is home to the oldest stone structure in Erie County, The Warren Hull House, a farm and home built by a Revolutionary War veteran in the early 1800’s. The Town has an old village feel on Main Street and is home to a terrific 4th of July Festival as well as the Taste of Lancaster highlighting the areas many restaurants.
Lancaster has many shopping plaza’s with top retailers Kohl’s and Target, local grocery chains Wegmans and Tops. The village has the small town feel with older homes from early 1900’s to much newer subdivisions that continue to expand through-out the town. As you reach the eastern portion of the town you find farms and open corn fields. Quite the diverse geography blend.
